Another good meal at Village Tavern ! On this night my companion and I had a simple but very good meal. We both had Spinach Salad and French Onion Soup The Spinach Salad is always been a local favorite- the salad dressing is spectacular The French Onion Soup is also favorite had by so many. My friend and I went here for girls night out last January. I'm embarrassed that I'm just now writing this review. I ordered the salmon dish with green beans and mashed potatoes. I actually thought that it came with the colorful couscous that it was pictured with but my waiter said that I had to order it. He did bring me a serving though so that made up for my disappointment. Everything was very good and the ambiance was nice. I would love to go back soon to try this dish again to write a more up-to-date review.
I ordered the garden salad and pork chop, all was really good and fresh, as were the green beans and mashed potatoes. Diverse menu, something for everyone. Service was excellent. The server cleared my plates and brought me my check in a timely manner.
Fabulous family experience this evening for dinner. Natasha was a wonderful server for our meal. She was happy and very enjoyable to interact with. Started with the homemade chips and ranch dressing then ordered a wedge salad, crispy chicken sandwich, chicken teriyaki, shrimp and grits and a chicken Alfredo. The food was very nice portions and tasted delicious. Finished off the meal with some peanut butter chocolate pie. Lots of laughter around the table. So blessed.
Service 9 Food 9 Cocktail Lemon Berry Sangria 9 Prompt seating 10 (honored my online reservation) I received a compliment from another waitress and that was nice. I believe a Mgr seated us he briefly went over the brunch options which was nice
My son picked this place for his 28th birthday dinner and everyone was very please. We were seated within just a few minutes. It was a Sunday around 3:30 so it wasn't busy at all. The atmosphere was nice. Some people were dressed casual and some were a little more dressed up. Drew was our server and he was great. Very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent my oldest son and daughter both had the fish and chips. My other son ( the birthday boy) had the shrimp Wellington and I had the shrimp and grits and "the perfect margarita" The bill was $125 and some change which is reasonable for a family of four. Definitely recommend.
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. We sat at the bar and ordered 2 appetizers and two drinks. The staff were friendly and quick with their service. The ambiance was nice and not a lot of people during the time. It was a Sunday around 5pm.
Such a lovely spot at the front of the Summit! Crazy that I've never really heard much about this place. Super cozy but still fancy enough for a more elevated night out. Our waitress was the absolute highlight of our night- UNBELIEVABLY kind and warmed my heart each and every time she came by our table. The food was all amazing but the sweet potato fries were definitely an unexpected favorite and I will for sure be back just for those! The matcha and my personal little tea pot were a lovely touch as well:)
I hadn't been here in a while, so when it was recommended for my book club meeting, I was excited. It is an older establishment and could use a little freshening up, but I was pleased with our seating as we were near the fireplace. Our server was pleasant and helpful. I thought I knew what I wanted to eat when I arrived, but then I saw the Bacon jam burger and sweet potato fries. Yummy! Three of us ordered the same and we were not disappointed! Delicious! The sweet potato fries may have been some of the best I have ever had! Light and crispy on the outside and soft and warm inside. The butter cake was mouth watering-such a wonderfully rich and delightful dish! One in the group was also celebrating her birthday and was given ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. All in all, a good experience.
